About Our School

LilyPad Preschool is a play-based preschool in Seattle, Washington that has been on Queen Anne hill since 2004. Our school is centered around being a first school experience to help prepare your child for their future education and beyond.

Our intent at LilyPad is to help each child become their most authentic self. We enrich young minds as they learn social and emotional skills, build knowledge, and develop cognitive abilities through play and exploration.

Every child is special and unique and our aim at LilyPad is to help them discover their special qualities and blossom within their uniqueness. Beautiful personalities unfold before your eyes when children are embraced with unconditional love and acceptance.

LilyPad Preschool is more than a warm and nuturing place. It's more than great education for your child. It's peace of mind.

"LilyPad is the most magical place for young children on Queen Anne. We first met Kippy in the fall of 2015 when our oldest child attended LilyPad. It quickly became his "home away from home." Between raising 4 children of her own and teaching toddlers for many years, Kippy can manage a room of 12 little ones with ease (it's quite remarkable to witness her finesse!). She is warm and loving, fun and dynamic, creative and artistic, and will most definitely make your child insanely excited about school. Kippy is also a treasure trove of parenting wisdom and has provided me with some invaluable advice."
